Discussions in term bases

The Discussions feature is also available for term bases, so you can comment on term base entries and terms.

Navigation

  1. Open memoQWeb (legacy) in a web browser. Log in as an administrator, project manager, terminologist, or external user.
  2. Click the QTerm tab. The QTerm - Home page appears.
  3. Click a term base you want to browse. The Browse terms page opens:

Discussions might not be available: QTerm will not display the Discuss icons if discussions are disabled on the server, or QTerm-related discussions are disabled, or your user group is excluded from discussions. If you believe you should see the Discuss icons, contact your project manager or server administrator.

Möglichkeiten

Choose an entry, then click the Discussions icon for this entry. The Start a discussion dialog appears:

Enter a name in the Summary field.

Fill in the other fields.

Select a user from the Assigned to drop-down list, then click Create and open or Create.

Click Close.

The topic is shown in the Related discussions section for the term entry:

If there is a related topic to the entry or term, then a bubble icon appears in the header. Click this Related discussions found icon, the Topics related to term base window appears:

Here you find all related topics for this term base listed. You can click the Show related topics which takes you to the Forum topics on the Discussions home tab. You can also click on a topic name in the Topic column which opens the View topic page.
